Fans gather to send off men's basketball team

Boilermaker fans were gathered at the airport to cheer on the men's basketball team as it departed for Houston for its second straight Sweet 16 appearance. CSSAC to hold forum on Sustaining New Synergies
CSSAC is sponsoring a forum on Sustaining New Synergies from 9 to 10 a.m. March 30 in Room 206, Stewart Center. Speaking at the forum will be Al Diaz, executive vice president for business and finance, treasurer, and Ken Sandel, project manager, who will discuss and answer questions about proposed changes under the Sustaining New Synergies plan. Purdue's disability services for the deaf and hard of hearing attract more students
The number of students who are deaf or hard of hearing and chose Purdue for their college education has more than doubled since 2007. In 2007-2008, the dean of students' Disability Resource Center (DRC) registered three deaf students and 19 who were hard of hearing. This school year, the DRC registered 13 deaf students and 26 who are hard of hearing. Read more...
Students learn about Earhart on campus tour
Sisters Fiona (left) and Maryanne Gillen, of the H.O.M.E. home-schooled group, joined other home-schooled students, Faith Christian School students and Girl Scout troops Tuesday in a tour of campus featuring the Amelia Earhart exhibit in the Virginia Kelly Karnes Archives and Special Collections Research Center. The tour also included a presentation on the life and character of Earhart by Robin Jensen, assistant professor of communication, and stops at the Purdue Airport, Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering, and the Amelia Earhart statue in front of Earhart Hall. Guides from Purdue's Visitor Information Center led the tour. More on the Earhart exhibit, which runs through May 28, is at www.lib.purdue.edu/spcol.
