Han-Sheng Chuang
and Ahmed Amin

Researchers have designed a lab on a chip capable of being programmed to perform a variety of jobs, a step toward more widespread use of the miniature analytical tools used to measure everything from blood glucose to viruses, bacteria to genes. Today's tip:
Wellness

Physical activity doesn't have to be sweating in a gym for 30 to 60 minutes. If you don't like working out in a gym or don't have a 30-minute time chunk you can devote to exercise, you can still reap the benefits of physical activity by breaking it up into
10-minute segments throughout the day. For example, park farther away and walk for 10 minutes before going in to work, walk to lunch instead of driving, and wash the dishes or do a few household chores when you get home.
