President's Forum to be held today

Faculty and staff are invited to attend a President's Forum from 1 to 2 p.m. today (April 13) in the South Ballroom, Purdue Memorial Union. President France A. Córdova will open the forum's presentations and will offer an update on fiscal matters. Leah Jamieson, the John A. Edwardson Dean of Engineering, and Willie Reed, dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine, will provide overviews of their respective organizational strategic plans.

Trustees approve professorship, chair, Purdue Calumet vice chancellor

The Purdue Board of Trustees on Friday (April 10) ratified three appointments for a named professorship, an endowed chair and the vice chancellor for information services at the Calumet campus. Trustees also approved a new representative to the Indiana Board of Animal Health as well as new master's degree programs in computer and information technology and industrial technology. More

The Board of Trustees on Friday (April 10) approved construction contracts for the Roger B. Gatewood Wing of the Mechanical Engineering Building and the renovation of Shealy Hall in the Windsor Residence Halls complex. More

Greek Week Team to hold breakfast for faculty and staff

Purdue's Greek Week Team is sponsoring a Faculty & Staff Appreciation Brunch from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday (April 14) in the Purdue Armory. The event will offer an all-you-can-eat meal of pancakes, sausage links, orange juice and coffee catered by Chris Cakes, which was recently featured on the Food Network. The brunch is free and open to the first 500 faculty and staff members to arrive.
