Project Orchard ethnography lab Program Clarence E. Dammon Dean Term Academic Year 2022 Status Accepted Research Area anthropology, ethnobiology, GIS, agriculture Description What is the impact of a heritage farm on the local community? In this project, a student will conduct anthropological research to ask about the different kinds of social and ecological value produced by an Indiana orchard. Topics will include contributions to local biodiversity, land management, value created, and applied research with key stakeholders. Over the course of the internship, the student will collect these data, analyze them, and create a report to share with stakeholders.
