The Parts Per Million Project: environmental and ethnographic research on war and health Margo Katherine Wilke Undergraduate Research Internship Program Fall 2025 Closed Anthropology This interdisciplinary research investigates the environmental and health impacts of war industries by examining indirect weapons exposures in Iraq. In order to determine the relationship between proximity to military bases and general health outcomes, the intern will analysis and code data (ethnographic interviews, soil sampling, official public health records, and mapped environmental features surrounding a military base in Iraq).
