Impact of Smoke-Free and Tobacco-Free Campus Policies on Tobacco Use: A Systematic Review Health & Human Sciences Academic Year 2025 Closed Public Health Many colleges in the United States have adopted smoke-free or tobacco-free policies to reduce the use of tobacco products on their campuses. This study aims to conduct a systematic review of published literature to assess the impact of these policies on the prevalence of tobacco use among college students aged 18 and older. Additionally, researchers will evaluate the effect of a comprehensive strategy in controlling tobacco use that combines campus policy with college-sponsored cessation services and resources. The student will participate in the article screening process as a second reviewer and receive the necessary guidance and support to understand the methodology used to conduct a systematic review.
