Generative AI for Enhancing Security in Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) Polytechnic Institute Academic Year 2025 Closed Internet of Things (IoT) Security, Cyber Physical Systems Security, AI and Deep Learning for cybersecurity This research focuses on understanding the state-of-the-art in Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) and investigating how Generative AI can be leveraged to enhance security in AIoT. AIoT can enable future smart and connected systems comprising Internet of Things (IoT) and cyber-physical systems (CPS), however, there are numerous security and privacy issues in this domain that need to be addressed. First, it is essential to identify security issues, such as, unauthorized access to data and devices in a smart system, such as a smart parking, smart home, smart health, etc. and second, address these security issues and vulnerabilities by developing novel generative AI models. Smriti Bhatt Review of the literature in AIoT and associated security issues, gain knowledge of generative AI models and apply them in real-world AIoT use case scenarios and datasets GPA = 3.5 and above Good programming skills - Python and other scripting languages Basic knowledge/understanding of AI and Machine/Deep Learning models Good cybersecurity knowledge and skills 0 15 (estimated)
