Project The Impact of Experiential Learning on Liberal Arts education: An analysis of student perspectives Program Margo Katherine Wilke Undergraduate Research Internship Program Term Spring 2025 Status Accepted Research Area Humanities, Social Sciences, Experiential Learning Description Working with Will Sartore, CLA Director for Global and Experiential Learning, participants on this project will contribute to ongoing institutional research regarding the impact of experiential learning experiences on humanities-related education. The purpose of this research project will be to center student voices in the research design and future implementation. Examining data from programs like study abroad, undergraduate research, and service-learning, this project will explore how students 'make-meaning' from their experiences with these programs and how this participation contributes to their understanding of their Humanities-related fields. This project is ideal for participants who are interested in exploring the 'Why' of student involvement in College.
