The Resilience Journey Margo Katherine Wilke Undergraduate Research Internship Program Spring 2025 Accepted Researching and creation of a Podcast Production on Resilience The objective of this project is to work with two undergraduate students on creating and producing "The Resilience Journey," a 45-minute podcast that focuses on the meaning of resilience in American life and history. One student will be mentored on creating and managing the production process, including the planning, recording, editing, publishing, and promoting content development, script writing and scheduling, while the second student will be mentored and trained on conducting background research for sound quality and topics for different episodes for the shows. This will include preparing notes for guests, assisting with the production process, including script writing and scheduling. Ronald J Stephens The two students will conduct background internet and newspaper research. Students will gain valuable experience producing and researching details surround the creation of the podcast show, The Resilience Journey and work closely with the producer (the faculty mentor) with setup for the entire production process. N/A at the moment. This is currently under consideration Any CLA junior and/or senior with a 3.0 GPA or better may apply. Some prior knowledge about developing a Podcast and familiarity with computers (MacBook or IBM) is requirement, as well as with editing and publishing of podcast shows using social media, including Facebook and YouTube) is a major plus. Attendance is expected and required for weekly 1.5 hour meetings for pre-recordings and outlining of shows. 1 2 (estimated)
