Membership & Eligibility Policies

General Membership Policy

  • Memberships are sold per individual & are not transferable 
  • All membership sales require a valid government issued photo ID (if 16 years or older)
  • Eligible students, faculty/staff, alumni and retirees of Purdue University may elect to purchase an individual membership, sponsor household membership(s), and dependent memberships
  • Individuals must sign all applicable waivers to obtain recwell membership(s), services, &/or participate in any programming


Students who do not pay the Fitness & Wellness Fee on their student bill may purchase a student membership. 


Any current employee, retiree, or emeritus faculty/staff are eligible to purchase memberships with a valid PUID .  

Alumni Members

Any alumni member of Purdue University are eligible to purchase memberships of choice by presenting a copy of your diploma, or Purdue Alumni credentials. 

Parking Options

Recwell Members who aren't eligible for a university parking permit may request a $0 parking permit for use in the RecWell parking lots at CREC & TREC.  

  • This permit is only eligible with purchase of a full or limited 4 month, 12 month, or recurring deduction membership
  • This permit is non-transferable
  • The parking permit becomes invalid when RecWell membership is canceled or expired
  • Members who purchase or renew memberships & are eligible for a recwell parking permit will have to setup an account via the Purdue Parking portal, must purchase the $0 CoRec parking permit for each year of eligibility, & are responsible for abiding by all parking regulations
  • All inquiries concerning tickets received while parked in the CREC & TREC parking lots should be directed to Purdue Parking
