Follow the below to-do list to keep your student and you on track.
Complete Sooner Rather than Later

Request transcripts for any dual credit courses.

Submit transcripts showing high school degree (or equivalent) obtained. Note - many high schools will automatically submit, but it is the students' responsibility to ensure they are received.

Complete immunization requirements.

Confirm the math placement requirement for plan of study.

Parent/Guardians - Check your homeowners policy to see if it covers belongings in a University residence (for on-campus students) or look into renters insurance (for off-campus students).

Parent/Guardians - Talk to your student about your communication plan (frequency of calls, emails, texts).

Parent/Guardians - Discuss when you will come to campus and when your student will come home during the semester.
June
July
15 (on/around) - Housing assignment notification emailed (for on-campus students).
21 - Fall invoice available - If you have a 529 plan, be sure to submit the required information early to allow for processing time.
If your student wants their aid (including educational loans) to credit the Bursar invoice when it comes out, students need to have accepted their aid package and signed their promissory note prior. If your student accepts aid after the initial Bursar billing, they will get a revised invoice once the aid credits.
31 - Last day to register for Boiler Gold Rush and to apply for a BGR fee waiver.
August
11 - Move-in for BGRi participants.
13-15 - Move-in for BGR participants.
15 (after 3 p.m.) - 17 - Early arrival move-in for on-campus students.
18-20 - Regular move-in for on-campus students.
21 - Classes begin.
