Martin appointed as director of business managers
Chris Martin has been named the director of business managers in Business Services.
Martin has been the director of financial affairs for the College of Engineering for the last seven years. Before that, he was senior business manager for Krannert School of Management. Martin also served for six months as a member of the Sustaining New Synergies Task Force in 2010.
In his new role, Martin will be responsible for providing management direction to the business manager organization to ensure that appropriate business services are provided to the units in which they serve. He also will be the public records officer and records retention officer for Purdue.
Martin's new appointment will be effective Oct. 1, as Lucia Anderson transitions to voluntary early partial retirement. Anderson will focus on public records administration and the Business Services professional development program. She also will provide support with the expansion of strategic sourcing in the academic areas.
