Interim director for Procurement Services named

Denise Laussade, director of treasury operations, will serve as interim director of procurement services, effective today (July 18).

Laussade will serve in the interim role until a successor is selected.

Laussade has been the director of treasury operations for five and a half years.  In her interim role, she will be responsible for working with the Procurement Services leadership team in managing the overall operations of the department from sourcing to settlement, which includes strategic sourcing, accounts payable and travel, purchasing operations and business process support, maintaining and administering University expenditure policies and procedures, and ensuring that Procurement Services consistently meets the needs of the University.
