Purdue Plant Doctor
Drs. Janna Beckerman and Cliff Sadof are two extension specialists at Purdue University that specialize in the pest management of landscape trees and ornamentals. Drs. Beckerman and Sadof approached the BoilerApps team to initially develop the Purdue Tree Doctor app. The Purdue Tree Doctor is a smart phone app that will help users diagnose and find recommendations to manage over 175 tree problems on over 60 kinds of trees common to the Midwest and Northeast United States. After the initial release of Purdue Tree Doctor, the BoilerApps team worked with Drs. Janna Beckerman and Cliff Sadof on publishing a total of four Purdue Plant Doctors (Purdue Tree Doctor, Purdue Perennial Doctor, Purdue Annual Doctor, and Purdue Tomato Doctor) that are available for both iOS and Android devices.
