About the Purdue West Coast Partnership Center Staff

John C. Boyle has worked for a number of corporations, including Hewlett-Packard, General Motors, VeriFone, 3Com, and others. He was a partner in two Silicon Valley venture capital firms, Worldview Technology Partners and Matrix Partners and an associate in two others, Sutter Hill and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. He is also a former City Councilman and Vice Mayor for the city of Menlo Park. John holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Purdue and an MBA from Stanford University.

Jody Ryden has experience at several of Silicon Valley's leading technology companies including sales and marketing positions at Hewlett-Packard. In addition she has held marketing management positions at Apple Computer, Symantec, Fujitsu, and 3Com Corporation. Jody was also an industry analyst with InfoCorp. She has a BA from Purdue University and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
