Purdue United Way Campaign ends Wednesday, needs more support to reach goal

Purdue's 2018 United Way campaign ends on Wednesday (Nov. 14) -- but the campaign still needs more support to reach its goal. Purdue faculty and staff can use the ePledge system on the campaign website to make donations.

Giant Leaps Research: Gozdem Kilaz

When people talk about sustainability, jet fuel doesn’t come up in the conversation. Unless it is Gozdem Kilaz who is talking. Kilaz, assistant professor of engineering technology at the Purdue Polytechnic Institute, her alma mater, is head of the Fuel Laboratory of Renewable Energy. She and her group research sustainable energy and alternative liquid transportation fuels for gas turbine aircraft engines.
