Data science leader tapped as dean of College of Science

A data science leader and Royal Society Research Fellow from University College London has been chosen as the next Frederick L. Hovde Dean of the College of Science at Purdue. Patrick J. Wolfe, professor of statistics and computer science and EPSRC Established Career Fellow in the Mathematical Sciences at UCL, was selected from a group of five finalists following a national search. He will join Purdue on July 17.
