Extraterrestrial Habitat Engineering team wins New Horizons grant, planning presentation

The first New Horizons grant has been awarded by Purdue to a team of researchers proposing to create a program in Extraterrestrial Habitat Engineering -- believed to be the first such university program. New Horizons is a competitive program launched by the Provost's Office in 2016 to challenge established senior faculty at Purdue to create new academic areas for the coming decades.

Purdue's new Classroom to Career Mentor Program, launched in Fall 2016 by Span Plan Nontraditional Student Services, pairs working professionals in the community with nontraditional students, many of whom have children, spouses, or are returning to school after at least a two-year break in formal education.
