Libraries inviting applications for scholars grants

Purdue University Libraries is announcing the Library Scholars Grant Program for 2016-17. The program is for untenured tenure-track faculty members and associate professors tenured effective July 1, 2014, or later.

Purdue students mark 25 years of building, racing
solar-powered cars

Purdue's tradition of building solar cars for competition reached the quarter-century mark this year with another addition to the long line of vehicles. Beginning in 1991, with a vehicle built from a van and solar panels, students have continued to refine and improve the projects turned out every two years. In the photo, Purdue Solar Racing team members show off the solar panels to be placed on the team's latest car, Renatus.
