Weight management focus to return to Center for Healthy Living in upcoming workshop

The Center for Healthy Living at the West Lafayette campus will offer its second weight management program beginning April 28. The six-week program is targeted for individuals who are in the process of losing weight or seeking motivation and tools to begin their weight loss journey.

Professor receives multimillion-dollar funding to start Station Q Purdue, become part of elite Microsoft team

Purdue professor Michael Manfra (right) has been selected to lead Station Q Purdue, part of an elite team assembled by Microsoft's Station Q to pursue a path to quantum computing. For the Station Q at Purdue project, Manfra collaborated with research engineer and graduate student Geoff Gardner to design a molecular beam epitaxy system to create new materials for research into quantum computing. The system will be housed in Purdue's Birck Nanotechnology Center in Discovery Park.
