Faculty and Staff NewsPurdue Alert test set for todayPurdue will test its emergency notification system, including sirens, at 10 a.m. today (Jan. 14). The alert system includes campus-wide emailing, text messaging, Twitter, information posted to the Campus Status page, All Hazards Outdoor Siren activation, Alertus beacons installed in large classrooms, desktop popup alerts on most classroom and lab computers, digital signs and Boiler TV emergency alert system activation. Purdue 'Ever True' campaign surpasses $1B markPurdue's "Ever True" fundraising campaign surpassed $1 billion in contributions from alumni, corporations, foundations and friends as calendar year 2015 came to a close. As of Dec. 31, $1,003,583,309 had been committed toward the $2.019 billion goal. To mark the milestone, the Purdue Bell Tower, the symbol of the campaign, will be lit in gold through next week.
