David A. Reingold named Purdue liberal arts dean

David A. Reingold from Indiana University has been named the Justin S. Morrill Dean of the College of Liberal Arts. Reingold is professor and executive associate dean of IU's School of Public & Environmental Affairs at the Bloomington campus. The appointment is effective March 1.

25th anniversary of Purdue Jazz Festival to kick off with Chris Potter Underground

The Purdue Jazz Festival's 25th anniversary will kick off with Chris Potter Underground, who will perform at 8 p.m. on Jan. 16 at Loeb Playhouse. This performance serves as Purdue Convocations' annual contribution to the Purdue Jazz Festival, a Purdue University Bands event that brings more than 2,500 middle and high school students to campus for clinics and concerts with noted jazz artists and clinicians.
