The recent cold weather has caused pipes in several University buildings to rupture, damaging a part of the Biochemistry Building and rendering a large classroom in Lilly Hall unusable.
As weather-related cleanup efforts continue at Purdue's West Lafayette campus, University officials would like to remind employees to remain vigilant for building damage and other hazardous situations.
During periods of adverse weather, the normal operations of the University may be modified or curtailed. Under severe conditions, a wind chill, snow or ice emergency may be declared for the West Lafayette campus, and special policies and procedures dealing with parking, pay, and/or attendance will become effective.
Monday's postponed women's basketball game between Purdue and Indiana has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Jan. 17 in Mackey Arena. Tickets from Monday's postponed game will be accepted for the Jan. 17 contest, or can be traded in for any of the Boilermakers' seven other remaining home games.
