HHS professors use new tools, classroom strategies to deliver higher education

Teachers are called to transfer knowledge and engage students in critical thinking. Christine Ladisch has been named the first dean of Purdue's new College of Health and Human Sciences.

ITaP taking reservations for spring semester BoilerCast classrooms

Demand is high for BoilerCast, Purdue's system for recording lectures and making them available online. ITaP is encouraging faculty members who would like to use BoilerCast for the spring semester to reserve a BoilerCast-enabled classroom soon.

CIE to offer workshops on college teaching

Purdue instructors can enhance their teaching skills, exchange ideas with colleagues and get practical hints on their craft in a workshop series offered by the Center for Instructional Excellence.

Nominations sought for engagement awards

The Office of Engagement is seeking nominations for the Faculty Engagement Scholar Award, Corps of Engagement Award and Faculty Engagement Fellow Award. Nominations are due Feb. 11. Details about the awards, including purpose, criteria, and general guidelines, are available in a PDF file.
