Upcoming Purdue Theatre season focuses
on 'New Directions'

The 2012-13 Purdue Theatre season will celebrate innovation while honoring the past with four plays: a classic Shakespearean play featuring a guest director, a contemporary comedy written by an emerging playwright, a Greek tragedy that represents two MFA students' theses and an entirely new play that merges the writings of Lewis Carroll with 21st century America.

Purdue continues a multiyear trend of its first-year students setting foot on campus with higher test scores and better grades than ever before, which helps position them to be successful college students.

PNC sets enrollment and credit hour records

Purdue has launched a new graduate engineering certificate program in hybrid vehicles, a specialty that is expected to grow in demand as hybrids become more common.

'Bring a Kid to a Game' set for Saturday

Boilermaker fans age 13 and younger can cheer on their team against Eastern Michigan on Saturday (Sept. 15) for merely $5. The "Bring A Kid To A Game" promotion is contingent on the purchase of an adult ticket, which start at $20 per seat. The game will kick off at noon, and will also serve as the annual "Band Day."
