Creating a foundation for long-term success is Bob Morman's goal as day general manager of Building Services. Now, as the 2012-13 chair of the Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee, Morman will use his leadership skills to help the organization create a strong footing with the University's incoming administration.

In July, Purdue launched the latest in health care technology for employees and their families -- Castlight Health. Castlight lets those covered by a Purdue medical plan shop for medical services by cost and quality and simultaneously keeps track of their medical spending. Now the Castlight smartphone mobile app lets users easily find the health care information they need anytime, anywhere.

In honor of the 40th anniversary of the enactment of Title IX, the Office of the Vice President for Ethics and Compliance is seeking nominations for its Title IX Distinguished Service Award. Purdue was ranked 56th in the 2012 Academic Ranking of World Universities by the Center for World-Class Universities of Shanhgai Jiao Tong University. Purdue was 61st last year and 69th in 2010.
Purdue has announced that it will receive a $1 million investment from Indiana University Health Arnett for construction of the new Lyles-Porter Hall.
For the 13th consecutive year, volunteers from Purdue and the city of West Lafayette will go around the New Chauncey and Northwestern Heights neighborhoods on Tuesday (Aug. 21) evening to meet students living off campus and welcome them to West Lafayette and Purdue.
