Purdue United Way Campaign pressing toward goal
Purdue's 2010 United Way Campaign is making a final push to reach the $735,000 goal with just 13 workdays left until pledge cards should be returned. "The University has already raised $632,920," says Christine Ladisch, 2010 Purdue United Way Campaign chair and dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences. "We need every dollar people are planning to donate to help United Way of Greater Lafayette reach its important goal of $4.5 million. We're at 86 percent of our goal, and hope to be at 90 percent by the middle of this week."

President's Forum set for Tuesday
Faculty and staff are invited to attend a President's Forum from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 26) in the South Ballroom, Purdue Memorial Union. The topic is "Student Success." President France A. Córdova will open the forum with remarks, and Dale Whittaker, vice provost for undergraduate academic affairs, will discuss progress made over the past year in student success. Timothy Sands, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs, will provide introductory remarks. Benefits open enrollment begins today
Open enrollment for 2011 benefits begins today (Oct. 25) and runs through Nov. 12. The 2011 Enrollment Reference Guide went in the mail on Friday. Faculty and staff should begin receiving the guides today in campus mail. Guides for employees who do not work on a campus were mailed to the employee’s home address. Read more...
