Purdue students to compete on 'Dancing with the Stars'

Eight students from Purude's Latin and Ballroom Dance Team will compete on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" at 8 p.m. Tuesday (May 11). The team will compete against three other college teams for this season's amateur championship. Audience voting will be part of the team scoring so be sure to watch and vote. Sautter honored at reception

A reception was held Friday to honor John Sautter, Purdue's vice president for housing and food services, who will retire June 30 after serving nearly four decades at the University. Under Sautter's leadership, Purdue's housing and food service operations have been guided by a series of master plans that have broadened student housing options and transformed on-campus dining. In the photo, President France A. Córdova congratulates Sautter as he tries out his Purdue rocking chair, a traditional gift given to exceptional Boilermakers upon retirement.
