Rec Sports offering healthy fun events for all

Everyone at Purdue is invited to go global and go strong with the Division of Recreational Sports in two special events coming soon. "Fun Around the World" will take a tour of the planet's foods, crafts, sports and dances at 9 p.m.-midnight Feb. 26 in the South Gym of the Recreational Sports Center. Feb. 26 also is the registration deadline for "World's Strongest Boilermaker," a competition to take place April 17-18 as a Grand Alternative event. Read more...

FAFSA help available at College Goal Sunday

High school students and their parents are invited to attend College Goal Sunday at 2 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 21) at the Ivy Tech Community College Auditorium. During the event, financial aid counselors will be available to help families fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form and answer additional financial aid questions. Science Bound students to meet Indianapolis business leaders

Boilermakers to raise funds for Haiti

Purdue is taking an active role in providing aid to the victims of the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti on Jan. 12. The Athletics Department has designated the Feb. 20 men's basketball game versus Illinois and the Feb. 25 women's game against Michigan State as an opportunity for fans to donate. Read more...

Study Abroad to offer satellite location Friday and Feb. 26

Study Abroad will set up a satellite office from noon to 4 p.m. today (Feb. 19) and Feb. 26 in Room 103, Recitation Building. This satellite office is meant to provide a convenient location for students turning in application materials and/or seeking advice on program options. Students, faculty, and staff also are invited to stop in to learn more about how Study Abroad fits into the University’s global mission.
