Purdue Alert test scheduled for Thursday
Purdue will test its emergency notification system, including sirens, beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 14). "Our purpose for the test is twofold," said Ron Wright, director of emergency preparedness. "We want to ensure that the various layers of Purdue Alert are working properly, to include the sirens, and to simulate a live situation for practice." Read more...

The Council on the Status of Women at Purdue is seeking nominees for the 2010 Violet Haas Award.
