Jeannie Chaney
President's Council Chair
My husband Jim and I look forward to seeing all of you February 14-17 for the 2013 Mollenkopf/Keyes Golf Tournament, Women for Purdue “Have a Heart” program and the Purdue University President’s Council Annual Weekend in one of the most beautiful places on earth – Naples, Florida.
This is always a fun and informative weekend with golf, Back-To-Class sessions featuring our world-class faculty, an opportunity to speak with Purdue administrators and time to be with friends. This year has the added excitement of a new president. We will be joined by President-elect Mitch Daniels as he begins his leadership at Purdue.
Our weekend events also provide a wonderful forum for thanking Acting President Tim Sands and Acting Executive Vice President and Provost Vic Lechtenberg for the incredible job they have done moving Purdue forward since mid-July.
We have arrived at one of the most significant moments in the history of our University as President Daniels moves into his office in Hovde Hall. Philanthropy is the key to success for universities in the 21st century and our President’s Council members are the heart of giving at Purdue.
Our Annual Weekend in Naples is a time to celebrate Purdue and all it has accomplished, to recognize our incredible faculty and students and to prepare for even greater successes in the years ahead.
Register for classes now and join us for our Annual Appreciation Dinner.
