Update: Traffic, parking disruptions
Here are notes on some current and upcoming disruptions on the West Lafayette campus.
Weather conditions play a significant role in progress on some projects.
-- At the northwest corner of Lambert Fieldhouse, the sidewalk will be closed through Friday (Feb. 5) from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily for work on the tunnel system. Map: www.purdue.edu/physicalfacilities/travel/pdf/Sidewalk@NWcorner_Lambert.pdf.
-- Along Centennial Mall, beginning Tuesday (Feb. 2), increased traffic and possible short-term standing traffic may take place due to the arrival of a crane and concrete trucks. As construction nears completion on the steel framework, pouring of concrete floors will begin. After that, exterior wall framing materials and additional workers will arrive on site.
