Engineering FYI: For Your Imagination

Engineering FYI: For Your Imagination is a FREE one-day on-campus event designed to increase interest in engineering among rising 7-9th grade students (completed 6-8th grade by summer of the event). The day features hands-on activities and interaction with current engineering students for participants and some activities for parents as well.

Discover how your unique talents and interests can lead to an exciting engineering career!
Make new friends with current college students and fellow participants!
All participants will be connected to be trained engineering student mentors throughout the day!
Experience engineering through fun, hands-on activities!
Apply your imagination and creativity to hands-on projects with small teams of fellow participants.
Hone your leadership and teamwork skills as you learn how engineers shape our world.
Experience how engineers make a difference and how you can make a difference!
Lunch will be provided for participating students in our residence hall dining court.
Parents may attend an information session and visit workshops.
