Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day

Save the date: February 25, 2023

Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day is a FREE event designed to increase interest in engineering among 9th and 10th grade students.

Experience hands-on engineering tasks while encountering challenges that engage you with specific engineering majors which hold relevance to your theme of choice.

Your ideal theme for the day will include one of the following choices:

  • City of Tomorrow
  • Environment and Energy
  • Everyday Products
  • Space Exploration
  • Healthcare
  • Technology

You will be assisted by a current Purdue Engineering student mentor who will work with you throughout the event.

The Women in Engineering Program's Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day is part of National Engineer's Week programming. 

Individuals of all races, genders, and backgrounds are welcome.
