Sue Bayley

Assistant Director

As the Assistant Director, Sue is responsible for developing and implementing WIEP’s K-10 programs including I2D2, I2R, ACCESS Engineering, FYI & IGED. In doing so, she works closely with engineering faculty & staff, community partners, and local schools. She received her B.A. from Purdue in Elementary Education with a kindergarten endorsement. Sue taught both at the elementary and middle school level and has over 25 years of coaching experience including 3 years as the Purdue Cheer and Mascot Coach. Sue also brings business and management experience to the WIEP programing having owned and operated a local competitive cheer gym for over 10 years. She utilizes her passion for teaching and coaching to introduce kids to the endless possibilities a career in engineering could hold for them.
