Student Employment

Employment on campus is a great way to develop the knowledge and skills that you need to succeed during your time at Purdue and when enter your career. Not only can you learn and develop leadership and professional competencies, you can demonstrate them to prospective employers. Not all student jobs are listed in the database, but you can utilize the Leadership and Professional Development Competencies as a tool to gauge your development. This can be used as a self-assessment of by your supervisor. Your supervisor may also know which competencies are connecting to your job. Many job descriptions are based on the LPD competency framework.

There are hundreds of on-campus employment opportunities within University Residences, University Dining and Catering, Recreation and Wellness, Libraries, and other departments. A listing of current available positions can be found on the Student Employment website
