Preference will be given to nominations in that period, however consideration will be given to previous nominations within a calendar year if selection committee deems necessary.
  2. An employee may receive one award per calendar year.
  3. Award selections will happen quarterly in a calendar year.
  4. One M/P and one Support staff member will be selected each quarter with the possibility of a third winner for the “Excellence” award. The Excellence award will be given to an employee who has demonstrated all 5 principles at one time.
  5. Each quarterly winner will receive $750 and a certificate. The winner of the Excellence award will receive $1000 and a plaque. Monetary awards will be “grossed up” so the winner receives the full dollar amount on their paycheck. Awards will be presented by the Vice Provost and the recipients’ supervisors at a small reception and all winners will be featured in a video for the VPSL website and State of the Division event.
  6. The Student Life Operations Committee will select award recipients from submitted nominations.
