Director of Financial Affairs

Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ball State University. During his 28 year career, he has spent 12 years in the auditing field and the other 16 years in accounting and financial management. He holds the designation of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Prior to coming to the Student Life business office, Jeff spent 5 years in the Purdue Internal Audit Office.

As Director of Financial Affairs, Jeff oversees the business side of Student Life. This includes accounting, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, travel, and financial reporting for all operations within Student Life. The department is also involved in special projects like building construction and University-wide initiatives, such as Transformation. Jeff and his team are charged with providing stewardship of the funds used by Student Life operations and programs to serve our students.

Outside of work, Jeff enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time with his two adult sons, both Boilermakers!
