Offering Emergency Care to Animals in the Community

As the only 24-hour emergency facility in Tippecanoe County, Indiana, the Emergency Service at Purdue University offers emergency care to animals in our community and beyond. The staff of the Emergency Service practice emergency and critical care nursing skills specifically for small animal patients.


We are open and accepting patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

  • Examination of your pet by a well-trained veterinarian
  • Radiographs (X-Rays)
  • Oxygen Therapy
  • ECG Monitoring
  • Intravenous Fluid Therapy
  • Point-of-Care Ultrasound
  • Point-of Care Bloodwork
  • Full Bloodwork Panel
  • ER Surgery
  • Full consultation service available with other hospital specialities.
