PVM Digital Badge Program Offers New Learning Incentive for Kids

April 12, 2013

Purdue Veterinary Medicine has started a new and free program with digital badges. The PVM Digital Badge Program gives children the ability to earn badges for participating in activities that PVM offers throughout the year. To earn a badge, children will have to complete a task and then answer a short quiz. Some tasks involve attending an event and others are completely online. All of the tasks are related to veterinary medicine!

PVM is offering four kinds of badges, each with an increasing level of difficulty, for children to achieve:

  • Discover PVM Badges: These badges are earned by visiting our college online or at PVM events.
  • PVM Explorer Badges: These badges show dedication and learning about the veterinary profession.
  • PVM Leader Badges: These badges demonstrate a track record for significant learning about the veterinary profession.
  • PVM Black & Gold Champion Badge: This rare badge demonstrates extraordinary dedication to learning about multiple aspects of the veterinary profession.

Digital badge opportunities are posted on the PVM Digital Badge website.
