Dr. Bianca Zenor and the Veterinary Technology team in the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine are happy to announce they will be changing the Veterinary Technology degree names to Veterinary Nursing (AAS and BS) effective with this year’s fall entry Class of 2022!   The Purdue University Office of the Provost approved the degree name changes earlier this month.  “The Veterinary Technology team is proud to lead this change and be in the forefront of the national credentialing initiative,” said Dr. Zenor, director of the Veterinary Technology Program and clinical associate professor.  “By providing a degree in Veterinary Nursing, we hope to improve the awareness and recognition of the highly valuable skills these future professionals will bring to the veterinary team.”  More information on the name change will be provided as the transition occurs, including information for currently enrolled Veterinary Technician/Technology students that wish to change their degree name.
