In Memory: Dr. Richard Rosebrock (PU DVM ’73)

The Purdue Veterinary Medicine family is saddened to learn that Dr. Richard (Dick) Rosebrock (PU DVM ’73) of Mariposa, Calif., died August 31.  He was 83.  Dr. Rosebrock earned both his baccalaureate and DVM degrees at Purdue University in 1972 and 1973, respectively.  He worked in private practice as the owner of the Mariposa Veterinary Service before retiring after 38 years.  He and his wife, Lynne, started a full-service pet boarding facility upon his retirement. Richard also spent much of his free time and time after retirement breeding Irish Wolfhounds. Funeral services are being provided by Palm Memorial – Sierra Chapel of Oakhurst, Calif.
