As of Friday, June 15, Rachel Nellett has joined the Purdue Veterinary Medicine communications team as the communications intern. Rachel is a junior in the Brian Lamb School of Communications majoring in Public Relations and Strategic Communications, with minors in English and Human Resources. She also is transitioning from being the student manager to the student HR manager at Windsor Dining Court, which involves shifting from being in charge of the student supervisors to overseeing all of the dining court’s student workers. In her free time, Rachel enjoys reading novels, traveling, cooking, and watching Game of Thrones. She is the owner of a talkative, black cat named Mindy and Kelcey, a 20-pound tabby. Rachel is excited to be joining the communications team, and looks forward to learning more about her field of communications and making connections along the way. She is located in Lynn 1191.  Stop by to say hi or share story ideas (or discuss the new Star Wars movies). Rachel can also be reached by email at rnellett@purdue.edu.
