Hoarding to Tornadoes: How County Emergency Management can help respond to Animal Issues
Are you and your staff prepared when animal disaster/emergencies strike in your backyard? An animal disaster/emergency is a coordinated multi agency response that needs you as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). We will discuss the methods and structure (Incident Command System) needed to work in a disaster environment. Local emergency managers will discuss actual incidents how they have worked with local veterinary resources to respond and coordinate effort to deal with animal issues in disasters.
