Kristina Stafford, DVM, DACVPM

Dr. Stafford received her BS degree from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University in 1997 and graduated from Purdue University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She practiced general and emergency veterinary medicine full time in Indianapolis, Indiana before joining Elanco in 2008. Dr. Stafford began her career with Elanco as a Regulatory Consultant, where she focused on post approval signal detection and trending of reported product adverse events. In 2010, Dr. Stafford began working as an inside Companion Animal Technical Consultant within Elanco’s Technical, Academic and Consumer Services Department. In 2014, Dr. Stafford transitioned into a field based position, in which she moved to North Texas and currently serves as the Regional Consulting Veterinarian for Northern Texas and Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Since joining Elanco, Dr. Stafford has continued to practice veterinary emergency medicine part time and currently practices on the weekends in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Stafford is board-certified in the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine and also serves in the Army Veterinary Corps Reserves.
