Abby Keegan, M.S., PAS Equine Nutritionist, Technical Services Cargill

Abby Keegan, M.S., PAS is an Equine Nutritionist for Cargill Feed & Nutrition. Abby enjoys connecting research and development with real-world application, helping Cargill create new products, services and solutions that support improving the health of the horse. Keegan is passionate about educating horse owners and veterinarians on equine nutrition. Over the last 15 years, she has professionally consulted on equine nutrition with equine veterinarians, farm managers and horse owners. She has guest lectured at several veterinary schools, spoken at multiple AAEP Sunrise Sessions, and taught Continuing Education courses for veterinarians many states across the U.S. Keegan received her B.S. in Animal Science from Iowa State University, M.S. from Kansas State University and also holds an ARPAS equine certification (American Registry of Professional Animal Science). Personally, she and her husband enjoy raising their two boys on an Iowa farm where they raise corn, soybeans and cow/calf pairs. In her spare time, Abby competes in the Rookie classes at the NRHA shows.
