PVAA Board Member Profiles
The PVAA is guided by the Purdue Veterinary Medicine Alumni Board. The Alumni Board acts as a liaison between PVM alumni and the College. The Alumni Board meets two times per year and gives guidance on alumni activities and events. They also participate in activities within their home areas to promote the College and alumni involvement. Both DVM and Veterinary Technology alumni participate on the Alumni Board.
Dr. John Feutz, President
Current position: Co-owner, Princeton Veterinary Hospital
Dr. John Feutz is actively involved in the leadership of veterinary medicine in Indiana. He is the President of the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association. He is on the Board of Directors of the Purdue Veterinary Alumni Association. He is also a member of the Southwestern Indiana Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Erin Kosta Wilson, President-Elect
Current position: Veterinarian, McDavitt Veterinary Clinic
Dr. Wilson is originally from a farm in Fair Oaks, IN and is a lifetime horse owner. She has ridden and shown Quarter Horses in a variety of events since childhood. After gaining valuable experience working and externing at several specialized equine clinics in Florida, Texas, and Oklahoma, she joined the team at McDavitt Veterinary Clinic in Zionsville, IN as an associate veterinarian in 2008. Her special practice interests include performance horse medicine and lameness, internal medicine, and anesthesia.
Dr. Keith "Kit" Logue, Past President

Current position: Retired
Dr. Logue joined the Magrane Pet Medical Team in June of 2008. He is a native of South Bend. Prior to his position at Magrane, Dr. Logue served in research and development and sales and marketing roles in the pet industry.
Dr. Logue shares his life with his wife, Julie, son Charles and daughter, Eleanor and 2 pets; Boogie, a Springer Spaniel and Rita the cat.
Dr. Jerry Rodenbarger, Secretary/Treasurer
Current position: Veterinary Surgeon, Vale Park Animal Hospital
Growing up in West Lafayette, IN, “Dr. Jerry” was destined to be a “Boilermaker”! He is a 1979 graduate from Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Jerry’s professional areas of interest are small animal (dogs and cats) and equine. He also has a special interest in orthopedics, soft tissue surgery, and reproduction.
Dr. Angela Demaree
DVM 2002, MPH
Current position: COO, Pinpoint Pharma
Dr. Angela Demaree currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Pinpoint Pharma, a 21st century veterinary compounding pharmacy. Angela is a Major in the U.S. Army Reserves and deployed in 2012 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She recently completed her Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine, is a Certified High Performance CoachTM and the host of Beyond the Stethoscope, the podcast for veterinarians and busy professionals.
Dr. Bill Donohue
Current Position: Associate Veterinarian, Vale Park Animal Hospital
Dr. Bill Donohue was born and raised in Crown Point, Indiana. He graduated undergrad from Purdue University Calumet in 2001 prior to veterinary school. While attending vet school, he was president of Omega Tau Sigma (OTS), a social and community service co-ed fraternity. Dr. Bill joined the Vale Park Animal Hospital Family in May 2006. He has a special interest in internal medicine, oncology, dermatology and wellness care in dogs and cats. He enjoys helping clients maintain a long healthy relationship with their pets. During his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Cyndi (also a veterinarian) and his 3 children Nora, Lainey, and Liam!! As an avid football fan, he enjoys football year round but mostly his competitive fantasy football league. Yearly trips to state and national parks to enjoy the fall colors and hiking with his girls fulfills days.
Dr. Abigail Durkes

Current Position: Associate Veterinarian, Vale Park Animal Hospital
Current position: Assistant Professor of Veterinary Pathology, Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine
My research interests include translational in vivo laryngeal pathology models; as well as research collaborations with scientists across campus and beyond. I am teaching the General Pathology course that is required of all 2nd year veterinary students as well as training pathology residents through my service as diagnostician in the Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory
Leslie Popplewell Ferguson
Current position: Product Manager, Virbac Animal Health
Leslie Popplewell Ferguson is marketing manager for an animal health pharmaceutical company. Leslie has transitioned from the Young Alumni Board.
Dr. Alfonso Gerbolini
Current Position: Veterinarian, Blair Animal Clinic P.C.
Dr. Alfonso Gerbolini is originally from Lima Peru where he studied in a German School. He lives with his partner Stacy and their dog Molly, a red 5 year old Golden Retriever. Dr. Alfonso worked in the swine industry for 9 years before entering veterinary school. He is now a vegetarian for animal welfare reasons. Dr. Alfonso describes himself as a humanist, an animal lover, and an advocate of mother earth. Dogs are his favorite animals in the summer and cats in the winter, and he has become fond of horses.

Dr. Melissa Justice
Current position: Field veterinarian, Indiana Board of Animal Health; Small Animal Emergency
Most influential PVM Faculty Members: Connie and Cheryl from Radiology because they made Radiology a fun place to be! Also, Dr. Jim Toombs because he had such high expectations from us as students and made us rise to the challenge.
What advice would you give to a student who is about to graduate: Be confident in your skills as a veterinarian but don’t assume you know everything. Learn everything you can in practice, spend time with senior veterinarians and listen to your technicians, they know a lot of practical information.
Dr. Bruce Lamb

Favorite Purdue memory: Taking a ride on the Continuum sculpture horse in front of Lynn Hall with fellow technicians.
Why do you participate in PVAA: To be involved in decisions that will help to move the College into the future.
Dr. Allen Leuking
Current Position: Veterinarian, Robinson Hospital for Animals
For 42 years, Dr. Allen owned and operated a veterinary practice in Sullivan and Linton. Upon retiring, he and his wife, Shirley, knew it was important to give back to the community and chose to make a difference by initiating plans to build a humane shelter for Sullivan County. Dr. Allen currently works part-time.
Dr. Adrienne Noble-Clark
Current position: Veterinarian, South Side Animal Hospital
Dr. Adrienne Clark was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, but has also lived in St. Louis, MO and Charlotte, NC, where her parents currently reside.
Dr. Clark worked as an associate veterinarian in Madison, IN for one year prior to moving to Greenwood. While living in Madison, she and her husband adopted 2 cats, Neon and Henry. In her free time Dr. Clark enjoys doing activities with her church, spending time with her husband, talking to her family and friends, going to the gym, socializing on Facebook, shopping, and trying new foods.

Dr. Steve Sunbury
Current position: Veterinarian, Seymour Animal Hospital
Dr. Sunbury was born and raised in Seymour. Coming from a family of veterinarians, his father is retired and his older brother Scot is currently working in Austin, TX. He has been very involved with organized veterinary medicine serving on the IVMA board in a variety of positions including committee chairman, board chairman and is a Past President. He currently sits on the Indiana Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. His wife Leisa is an art teacher at St. Ambrose School. They have 3 children; Delaney, Karley and Keegan and share their home with a Shih Tzu cross named Holly and a lazy cat named Lilly. Dr. Sunbury enjoys spending time with his family, trail running, triathlons and ultra-marathons.
