Collection Information

GENERAL - Label all containers with appropriate information - Animal ID, Owner Name, Veterinarian, Sample Type, Date.
BLOCK/SLIDES - Submit appropriate tissue in a paraffin-embedded block for requested testing. If submitting unstained slides for IHC, please submit AT LEAST THREE (3) slides per IHC being requested.

Shipping Information

OVERNIGHT - Ship overnight in an insulated shipper with ice packs (pack absorptive material to collect moisture) DO NOT SHIP OVER THE WEEKEND OR HOLIDAY - NO SATURDAY DELIVERY
PAPERWORK - Package paperwork separately in a waterproof, sealable plastic bag. Ensure paperwork is complete and specimens are labeled for easy matching. If you are using CF.755 Multiple Animal Continuation Form, please include a hard copy and email a copy to addl@purdue.edu.
BLOCK/SLIDES - Please ship slides in a sturdy slide holder box. Paraffin blocks can be shipped in a sealable, plastic bag.

Additional Information
Includes IHC for MSH, proliferation marker Ki-67, and reticulum and PAS stains. If formalin-fixed tissue submitted, fee for processing/embedding will be applied. Unstained slides must be positively-charged/adhesive. Additional fees will apply for shipping blocks/slides back to client/submitter.
