During the event, participants will be able to get information on policies and procedure updates. This year's assembly will focus on new features of the GetInvolved Web site and provide an opportunity to meet with staff from the Office of the Dean of Students and other campus representatives to discuss organizational opportunities and resources. All student organizations must be registered in the GetInvolved system to avoid deactivation. This site has the ability to post events on the virtual flyer board, submit news articles, create e-mail lists, hold elections and conduct surveys. Future and current students can easily find a organization profiles and become a member or contact the organization. Representatives from Purdue-licensed vendors also will be attending the assembly. This will allow student organization representatives to gather information about projects they may have this year and to see what different vendors offer.
