College of Technology at Anderson awards scholarships to six

ANDERSON, Ind. - Purdue University's College of Technology at Anderson has awarded scholarships totaling $5,000 to seven students for the 2009-10 academic year.

The following students were awarded scholarships:

* Jason Lee received an Anderson College of Technology license plate fund award for $500.

* Kelly Dyer and Sheryl Thayer each received a $500 scholarship from the Anderson College of Technology's General Scholarship fund.

* Brittney Wilhoit received a $1,000 Comfort Motion Technologies Award.

* Shiuan An received a $1,000 Independent Federal Credit Union Award.

* Kevin Harding received a $1,000 Star Financial Award.

* Larry Whitely received a $500 John Eddy Award.

The Purdue College of Technology at Anderson offers bachelor's degrees in industrial technology and organizational leadership and supervision, associate degrees in computer and information technology and organizational leadership and supervision, and courses in electrical engineering technology. The location began this fall offering a concurrent master's degree program with Anderson University Falls School of Business, where students can receive both a master's degree in technology and an MBA.
